This is not the contact form
The contact page is where you ask us to look at your unit’s numbers, and it still subscribes you to nothing — that promise is printed on it and it has not changed. This box is the opposite: it puts you on the letter and starts no conversation at all. Doing one does not do the other.

We ask for an email address and nothing else
No name, no unit, no title, no phone. There is no profile behind the address because there is nothing in it. If you want us to know who you are, use the contact page.
Unsubscribing takes one click
The link is at the bottom of every issue and it works on the first click, with no confirmation page asking you to reconsider.
The list is not for sale and not for rent
It is not shared with a carrier, an administrator, or anybody else, and it never becomes part of a list that is.
The second of those is structural rather than a policy we are asking you to trust: the subscribe form has one field and the server stores the address, the page it came from, and the time. There is no name field to leave blank, so there is no profile to build.

One
What moved in the filings
New Annual Financial Report and Form 4B postings on the Indiana Gateway, DLGF certified budget and levy releases, and what a release changes about a figure we have published. When a refresh moves a peer median, we say so and say by how much.
Two
What moved at the Statehouse
Bills and enrolled acts that reach a public plan sponsor: pharmacy benefit manager regulation, the SEA 3 duties, hospital price legislation, the township reorganisation mechanism in SEA 270 and the dates attached to it. Read as public statute, not as legal advice — we are not counsel and the letter repeats that whenever it matters.
Three
One unit, looked at properly
A single Indiana county, city, town or township whose filed numbers are interesting, walked through with the sources printed. Never a criticism of the people who filed them, and never a unit that has asked us not to.
Four
What changed on this site
New articles, session dates once they are fixed, and any change to the tools — a new data vintage in the Scorecard, a corrected figure, a method note. Corrections lead the letter rather than hiding at the bottom of it.

The letter is the thinnest thing we make
It is a week of notes. The journal is the long form — three article briefs planned, one published so far — and the working sessions are the part where you can interrupt and ask why. All three sessions are being built now and the letter is how their dates get out.
